Peligro Music and Sound: Seattle’s Best Coffee Brewed by Greg Kuehn

LOS ANGELES, May 26, 2011 — A score from composer Greg Kuehn of Peligro Music and Sound evokes inspiration and opportunity in “Blackstone,” a new spot for Seattle’s Best Coffee’s Brew-lanthropy campaign via Creature. Directed by Matt Ogens, the spot opens with shots of a neighborhood congested with people struggling to survive in the southside of Chicago; Kuehn’s music enters, indicating a ray of hope in the form of this philanthropic project. The endeavor originated as a way of recognizing valuable nonprofit organizations and awarding them for their commendable efforts. Blackstone Bicycle Works, a nonprofit bicycle shop, is the first organization to be recognized by the Brew-lanthropy Project for its endeavors to provide a safe location where children can productively spend their time–in this case, restoring old and unwanted bicycles.

Created entirely in CG as part of LITTLE RED ROBOT’s internship program, “2010 MKS” features the 2010 Lincoln MKS whizzing through a virtual environment comprised of graphics and visuals touting the car’s unique features.

The decidedly hi-tech look is bolstered by a French Electro re-imagining of “The Chauffeur” by Duran Duran.
