Cabrera was honored at the 2004 Clios Awards by SHOOT as one of the up and coming directors to watch internationally, and was shortlisted at Cannes by CFP-F/shots for the Young Directors Award.
Cabrera’s recent projects include Mercedes, Ford, Craftsman, and Reina Beer. He is currently directing a project for GEICO via The Martin Agency/VA.
In addition to his spot work, Cabrera is a professional photographer. He is currently at work on Buckaroo, a photographic essay on the American Cowboy to be published in 2008.
