Seriously, though, Brin and Dale Kushner were among the first people I met seven years ago, when I first came to Cannes. You can listen to all kinds of pontificating in the Palais from stars and ad biz darlings, but the people who are out there on the ground, marketing themselves and their culture to an audience with the charm and skill these guys display year after year get my vote, brah.
