Peter Fuszard

Director/Cameraman, Creative Monster Productions

An award winning Director/Cameraman, Peter Fuszard has been making commercials, action sports films, and documentaries since 1989. He has directed national spot projects for Acura, Ford, Honda, and Bank of America, among others. He’s directed films for Nike, Kawasaki and Salomon North America, and helmed B of A’s “Path to the Olympics.”

Peter’s documentary honors include an Emmy Award for cinematography on the television documentary “Summit to Sea”. Surfer magazine described his work on Billabong’s “Odyssey” as ”…one of the most brilliantly executed pieces of surf cinematography ever.” Recently, he shot the documentary “Food Fight,” which focuses on the California food revolution and issues of sustainability and health in the food industry.

While obtaining a degree in film and video production from San Diego State University, Peter began producing his own sports films. He went on to work for several of the largest sports filmmakers. His background in action brought him to the attention of commercial production companies, where his work has expanded to include clients in the automotive, banking, and health care industries. Peter’s work has taken him around the world to five out of seven continents.

No doubt, Peter’s endeavors with Creative Monster Productions will take him to the other two, and beyond. “The company’s interest in new technology, interactive, and VFX is very much in line with my own,” says Peter. “I’m really inspired by the combination of experience and vision on display here.”
